Should VAC bans be turned invisible earlier if the game is removed and no longer on steam?įrom what i have heard, there exists an internal 7-year system which turns any VAC bans past that amount invisible to others but myself. I have grown past caring much for it, as it has had little to no impact on my gaming experience, but its just a constantly irritating reminder everytime i look at my profile, i see this bulking big red text, about a game that i barely even got to try.Īt the end of the day, the thing i would like discussed is: How VAC thought i was cheating when i was eating my lunch while looking through menu's is completely insane to me, and considering a person who was cheating in one of the lobbies i was in, still does not have a ban to this day, completely baffles me. I have 2 hours on the game, and i played a grand total of 2 matches, one where i was kicked instantly due to the server closing (SBMM -_-), and the other took about 25 minutes to even get into, to which i was greeted by players who have evidently sank 1000+ hours in the game, and thus i stood basically no chance due to how Loadout functioned their leveling. However, i was VAC banned on a game called Loadout (A game now completely shut down, and removed from the steam store). I have never used cheats on any game as i find them incredibly boring. I will disclose, i had cheat engine on my pc, but simply and exclusively for borderlands 2 randomizer. I personally feel i was wrongfully VAC banned, as not only did i not "cheat" in a game, but i was VAC banned from a game i had tried once. I very much appreciate that VAC is a system, it helps stop cheaters ruining peoples fun, and i can respect that, but their idea that VAC bans are 100% accurate, and the idea that you cannot even appeal to them is rather, irritable?
